Photo exhibit dedicated to Chester Bennington opening on late Linkin Park frontman's birthday

ABC/Randy HolmesA photo exhibit dedicated to Chester Bennington is opening at The Black Sheep Gallery in Burbank, California on March 20, which would've been the Linkin Park frontman's 43rd birthday.

The photos in the exhibit were taken and curated by artist Jim Louvau, who'd been friends with Bennington since his band played a show with Linkin Park in 2000.

"Over the course of our 17-year friendship I was lucky enough to document the evolution of the young musician who never took himself too seriously to the family man and philanthropist he developed into," Louvau says in a statement.

He continues, "Now it's time to honor the memory of someone who I owe a great deal of gratitude by sharing the art we created together with the world and continue to celebrate his legacy on his birthday."

Tickets are available now via Eventbrite. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to 320 Changes Direction, a suicide prevention charity co-founded by Bennington's widow, Talinda Bennington.
